High Woods Farm

Welcome to High Woods Farm 

High Woods, a former hill farm, is set in forty five private acres of the North York Moors National Park, mid way between Ampleforth and Wass. It is close to the picturesque market town of Helmsley; around 15 miles from Thirsk, Malton and Pickering; and some 40 minutes drive from York and Scarborough.

The farm sits in a stunning setting at the head of Shallowdale with the beck running through the valley, where sheep and cattle graze the hillsides. The peace, tranquillity and abundant wildlife will appeal to those looking for a holiday home in an unspoilt rural location.

The Burrows

High Woods Farm has 2 self-catering cottages - one 3-bedroom (The Burrows) and one 1-bedroom (Mole End) which will sleep three.

Games, a video/book library and magazines are available in the cottages and a dartboard is provided in the Dutch barn. Each cottage has a barbecue and there is ample car parking. Pets are allowed by prior arrangement but smoking is not permitted. A washing machine and dryer are available for guest use.
